Armenia

In Armenia, with the support of the French Embassy and in association with the Scientific Research Center of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of Armenia, a two-year training programme for Armenian heritage professionals is underway, onsite, online, and with occasional visits to France by officials.

A few dates

2022-2024: Implementation of a programme of short training courses in Armenia, aimed at professionals, on themes defined in conjunction with the Armenian Ministry of Culture.

2022-2023: Implementation ofa professional exchange programme in Paris and Lyon for Armenian heritage professionals.

2022: Support for the project to create an illustrated multilingual glossary - http://glossaire-architecture-armenienne.com - of Armenian architectural terms, accessible online.

2021: Signing of a partnership agreement to set up a cooperation programme with Matenadaran, the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts.

April 2021: Organisation by the Institut national du patrimoine, in partnership with Europa Nostra and the Ecole du Louvre, of an international study day on the protection of the cultural heritage of the South Caucasus.
