Every year, the Institut national du patrimoine welcomes international trainees, who may be students or heritage professionals, to follow all or part of a training course given in French. These international trainees are selected on the basis of applications.

The Laboratory of the department of conservators-restorers is a research unit recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education and reporting
