Europa Nostra

The Institute has consolidated its relations with the Europa Nostra network, which it joined in 2020.

Europa Nostra lent its support to the organisation of a study day on the protection of cultural heritage in the South Caucasus on 15 April 2021.

Europa Nostra (Our Europe in Latin), the European Federation for Cultural Heritage, is a fast-growing citizens' movement for the protection of Europe's cultural and natural heritage. This movement’s voice is directed towards international organisations, particularly the European Union, the Council of Europe and UNESCO. Europa Nostra is recognised as an NGO partner of UNESCO, with a consultative role.

Europa Nostra's European network covers more than 50 countries and is made up of 250 member organisations (heritage associations and foundations with a total of more than 5 million members), 150 associate organisations (government bodies, local authorities, and businesses), and 1,500 individual members who directly support Europa Nostra's mission.
