Master by project

The Master 2 « Patrimoine et création par le projet » (Mention Humanités et industries créatives) is a 1-year course (with no associated Master 1).

By bringing together practitioners from specific fields (architects, artists or landscape architects, as well as specialists in literary creation, heritage professions and conservation-restoration), this Master 2 offers a bridge between research and the professional world.

The aim of this Master's programme is to implement project-based research, enabling practitioners to return to research while continuing their practice.

The Master 2 dissertation will combine a written document and a project, combining professional practice and theoretical issues.

The other objectives are :

  • to obtain a Master's degree ‘through the project’ ;
  •  to become involved in research or return to scientific research;
  • to meet the demands of research and contribute to research projects in professional life:
  •  initiate research work with a view to pursuing a doctorate ;
  •  benefit from the methodological input of project-based research.
